MANUFACTURING TECHNIQUES

The manufacture of a leather-wrapped backgammon relies on exceptional craftsmanship. Here are the main stages:

1. Material selection – Choice of top-of-the-range, supple and resistant leather, as well as other components (wood, alcantara, etc.).
2. Cutting and preparation – The various parts of the set are cut out with precision. (e.g. board, squares and outlines).
3. Sheathing – The leather is delicately stretched and glued to the support, with perfect adjustment of corners and edges.
4. Assembly and finishing – The backgammon parts are assembled, the hinges adjusted, and any seams or markings made.
5. Quality control and polishing – Each backgammon is checked for impeccable feel and finish before shipping.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Wipe only with a soft cloth in the case of superficial stains on leather. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight or direct heat. Keep away from splashes of water or other liquids.
